The Intense pulsed light (IPL) is a type of intensive, broadband, coherent light source which has a wavelength spectrum of 420 nm -1200 nm. The light-based component delivers optical energy that is absorbed by specific chromophores in the skin, which is converted to heat, according to the principle of selective photothermolysis. So IPL's light affects pigmentations, broken capillaries and hair follicles. In the meanwhile, IPL also give a boost to collagen production, which can make the skin more youthful, radiant and bright and remove fine wrinkles.
Super hair removal is not like the traditional IPL hair removal to use single pulse to heat up the hair follicle. It is use high repetition rate (5~10Hz) but with low energy which accumulate to reach the energy required to remove hair. Which use special 690~950nm filter to make sure the safety treatment.
